We ask that any chatbot that accesses our APIs provides a proper useragent string including a website or email address where we can contact you, should we need to resolve any issues. If your bot is server based, we ask that you also provide us with the channel name of the streamer in the form of a custom http header (eg. x-botname-channel) with each request, so we can manage excessive usage on a per-channel basis. We ask that you DO NOT use our APIs on your website, or for stream overlays, as this is not the intended use, and typically results in excessive amounts of traffic.
